‘Untamed’ Season 2 is Confirmed, and Turner’s Journey is Just Beginning

Date:

The hit Netflix wilderness crime drama Untamed is officially returning for a second season, and it’s bringing a major change with it. The new season will see lead star Eric Bana’s character, agent Kyle Turner, leave the familiar landscapes of Yosemite to investigate a new mystery in a different national park. This move is a central part of the new storyline, designed to push the protagonist out of his comfort zone.
The series creators have confirmed that after the emotional and professional upheaval of Season 1, Turner needed to get away from Yosemite. The new season will follow his journey to an unfamiliar park, where he won’t have his home-field advantage. This will force him to be on his “back foot,” a deliberate choice by the creators to make the character “very uncomfortable” and to allow for new avenues of storytelling.
The actor, Eric Bana, expressed his excitement about the show’s renewal, praising the crew for their incredible effort. He stated that he is “absolutely thrilled” to continue the story and looks forward to the new journey his character will embark on. The new mystery, according to the creators, will be an organic part of the new landscape, promising a case that is as unique as the park itself.
The return of other cast members from Season 1, such as Lily Santiago, has not been confirmed, but the creators are open to the possibility. They expressed their love for the original cast and are trying to figure out how to bring them back. However, viewers can expect a new ensemble of characters to be introduced in the new setting, all of whom will play a crucial role in the new investigation.
