In its opening weekend, the film amassed €954,000 in the Republic of Ireland, along with an additional €69,000 in Northern Ireland. Meanwhile, the film’s global box-office takings reached $264 million, setting a new record as the most successful debut of Nolan’s illustrious career.
The Odyssey features an impressive cast including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, and Zendaya. It brings to life Homer’s ancient Greek epic, chronicling the adventures of Odysseus, the ruler of Ithaca, as he embarks on a ten-year journey to return home after the Trojan War.
