Russian Envoy: Trump Sees ‘Lost’ War, Europe Clings to ‘Craziness’

Date:

Donald Trump sees that the Ukraine war is “lost” by the West, while Europe clings to “craziness,” Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov claimed this week.
Alipov contrasted Trump’s “understanding” with the “childish” and “unprofessional” belief among European nations that Russia can be militarily defeated.
“There is no chance,” Alipov insisted at an event in Gurugram, dismissing the nearly four-year-long, Western-backed war effort.
He then explained the basis for his certainty: Russia’s nuclear weapons. “You can’t… take over us in this conflict,” he said.
He also explicitly cited Russia’s “existential threat” doctrine as the formal policy that allows for the use of these weapons.
