Việt Nam, Ireland Enhance Partnership in Training and Research

Việt Nam is expanding its partnership with Ireland to advance training and research collaboration focused on innovation and sustainable development. At a meeting between Nguyễn Xuân Thắng, Chairman of the Central Theory Council and President of the Hồ Chí Minh National Academy of Politics, and Irish Ambassador Deirdre Ní Fhallúin, both sides discussed practical measures to enhance cooperation between the Academy and Irish institutions.
They agreed to prioritise capacity-building initiatives for officials, joint research on digital transformation, green technology, renewable energy, and social welfare systems. The partnership aims to strengthen Việt Nam’s research capabilities, develop a highly skilled workforce, and promote innovation-driven growth that aligns with the country’s long-term development goals.
